There is a variety of minority scholarships for college students that you can register for to get more money to pay your college expenses. There’s a couple of minority scholarships for college students you can register for right now to help pay your college costs. Remember to also do your own research to find more scholarships that fit your needs.
The first of these scholarships is a scholarship giveaway held at Freecollegescholarships.net. To be eligible to register, you have to be 18 years old or older and live in the United States. You enter the scholarship drawing simply by completing an easy, one-page registration form. The scholarship is given away each month so don’t delay your free registration.
The American Dream Scholarship is available to African-American students with financial need. In partnership with the United Negro College Fund, this American Dream Scholarship Program is open to African-American students who are U.S. citizens or permanent residents and who have a minimum of a 2.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale. Students must meet the Pell Grant eligibility criteria. Applicants also need to be enrolled full-time at an undergraduate institution. The scholarships available range from $500 all the way to $5000. The deadline for this scholarship is April 15th.
Being your scholarship application process early. This is key for two main reasons. First, you will not miss the deadline for the scholarship programs you apply to. Second, this will give you more time to apply for even more scholarships. And as an added benefit, you will not have as much stress while applying for the scholarships.

Are there any scholarships out there for college-bound students with OCD?I'll be a high school senior in the fall & am starting to apply for college. I suffer from OCD & was wondering if there were any scholarships offered for those with my disability.

Hi, if you are an intelligent person and have secured a minimum of 60% marks in the last course and your income is low then you can apply for the scholarship at http://www.nicelife.we.bs they do not provide cash assistance, but will provide you the help only through booklets, and cds etc FREE of Cost. There are only two conditions to fulfill. you must be intelligent and you must be earning a low amount or not earning at all.

There are no scholarships for commuters but you can try applying to some other easier ones. Short essay, credentials, etc. Check out http://www.ez-scholarships.com they have some good info and they do offer a monthly $10,000 scholarship drawing. That should cover your transportation expenses for the next few years.

Only 9 dollars for an entire semesters worth of college? Wow… you are very lucky. Babysit the neighbors kids for an evening to earn that 9 dollars and instead of moving on campus stay at home.

Check U of M's website–a lot of schools offer scholarships to transfer students, particularly those from community colleges.
